On a hot sunny Easter Sunday Adam and Alison arrived at the Ferry terminal to catch their 9:20 sandbanks ferry across to Studland beach for their engagement shoot. Texting me to find out where I was and made me jump spilling coffee all over my nice clean white Polo shirt! Luckily for me Alison and Adam are one of the nice chilled couples I have on my books.
Not knowing what to expect we tentatively started shooting on the walkway through the reeds to the beach. Any nerves they had about being photographed soon disappeared and we had a great morning of fun photos before the crowd arrived in force to soak up the sun.
I’m sure all three of us are now looking forward even more to their wedding in Parley Manor, Bournemouth in 4 weeks time.

After completing a BA(hons) degree in Photography at Plymouth University I quickly realised my skills were with the interaction with my subjects in front of the lens. I left the graphical side of the industry to work in a studio, which I did for 4 years running 10 studios across the South coast. I then left to work for myself photographing children at nurseries, child of the year competitions, and schools. I have now focused on wedding photography as I have a passion for the creative photograph. I have found weddings give me the freedom to express this creativity whilst enjoying my work and those around me.
